Being asked to do the impossible might throw most people off, but we’re talking about Ditch McGillicuddy here, not your average guy. Ditch’s life was just starting to return to normalâ€"or at least as normal as his life could be. After nearly dying at the hands of a psychopath, he and Sunny had settled in for a happily boring life. But a trip to Ireland to settle the estate of a cousin he’d never met would change his lifeâ€"and the lives of those around himâ€"forever.His cousin left him two strange objects: a sword and a block of wood. It just so happens that the sword was magic and could do some rather impressive things when in the right hands. And that block of wood? It was pretty magical too. Turns out that Ditch and some of his closest friends will need more than magic to overcome their latest obstacle. It’s up to them to save the universe from the ultimate bad guy who has but one simple goalâ€"to rule over everyone and everything under the sun.Never one to get rattled, Ditch jumps right into this new world, taking Sunny and company along with him. This time around, though, he may have taken on more than he can handle. After all, universe-saving might be even more than Ditch is capable of.
