Seth Ryan is the coolest celebrity on the planet. So when his newest film starts shooting in Park Slope, everyone gets movie mania—including Maggie Brooklyn Sinclair. Though Maggie's gig as a movie extra doesn't go according to plan, at least she still has her after-school job as a dog walker.

While her friends and her twin brother, Finn, spend their afternoons on set, Maggie and her pups get pulled into a mystery in the park. Then one night at the Pizza Den, Seth Ryan joins Maggie at her table. But just when her life is feeling like a romantic comedy, Seth disappears! Everyone thinks he's been kidnapped, but one super sleuth knows better .. .
