Unrepentent

Targeted by criminals who fear the end of their unopposed reign of terror, the former Peg Jessup now known as Megan Dawes, decides to fight back. Odd things revealed by her aunt and items she saved from her aunt's house, give the police new leads to facts that could put the men away for life. Perjury by a group of former classmates, allows one of the men to go free of a rape charge against her and cause him to want revenge. With her musical career on hold, Megan persists with her vendetta, assisted by her husband, Jack and two other friends. As they dig deeper, they also find out the truth about her birth, and the name of her real father. This story is set in the early 1970s.
