Young readers mystery novel – age 11 to 13 Allie and David Steele's long-awaited vacation to the Bahamas takes a menacing turn when they meet their mom at the Houston airport. Allie's carbon fiber computer case is mistaken for an identical one containing stolen Canadian passports. Allie, who is logical and a risk-taker, and brother David, creative and cynical, are pursued to Nassau. With their energetic Aunt Marcie, and jovial Chief Inspector Maclean of the Royal Bahaman Police, they try to trace and identify their stalkers. The action accelerates when Marcie's assistant is abducted as a trade for the passports. The story includes real-life settings in Nassau, and is based on historical groups and events.
