Dead men can't speak. When Danny Cipriano's body is discovered buried in a concrete tomb at the London Olympic Stadium, one thing becomes clear: the former leader of The Crimsons knew too much. And somebody wanted him silenced. For good. Only problem is, DC Jake Tanner thinks he knows who and immediately begins pointing fingers. But as the investigation develops, he realises the tentacles of corruption have spread far and wide, and that the financial gains to be had from it are far greater than he imagined. With financial pressures of his own, and betrayal and deceit lining every one of his colleagues' decisions, Jake finds himself under the line of duty and faced with a choice.
