About This Book

Return to Rialos in "The Twilight Plain", the sequel to "The Crimson Staff". With the northern lands living in a fragile peace and the newly liberated city of Canol seeking allies, Rea and her companions are called to action again. The residents of Skyview are beset by sudden and vicious attacks by unknown creatures from within the mysterious Twilight Plain and what Rea finds there will change both her perspective and her destiny. Meanwhile throughout both the northern and southern realms forces are at work that begin a spiral toward chaos - chaos that will center around Rea Crimsonstaff.

"The Twilight Plain" expands upon the already rich and diverse world of Rialos. New characters are introduced and familiar faces are revisited as the epic story continues to unfold. This novel picks up where the previous novel "The Crimson Staff" left off, though one can just as easily jump right in without having read the first Rialos novel.

"The Twilight Plain" also features a short story called "The Last Stand" which offers a historical perspective on the Battle of the Sundered Mountain. The story describes the last stand of the dwarven race against the demons, fleshing out details that are mentioned within the main story.
