Tucker Norman (Pronounced Tuckah Nawmin)

This is Barry's 9th book with Publish America. It is a complete departure from his previous novels. Of course the setting for the story is Gloucester, MA, the author's hometown. All his books use Gloucester as a backdrop for the story. As the story unfolds you'll find the main character returning to Gloucester after being away for many years. Tucker Norman is a retired detective who finds his former best friend is now Chief of Detectives with the Essex County Sheriff's Office. When the two old friends find each other through a woman Tucker has admired for years, the game is on. Once again the reader will be transported through the streets and back alleys of this beautiful town. Barry doesn't like to stay in one place throughout a story; consequently, the reader will be taken on an adventure into the jungles of Southeast Asia in search of Tucker's nemesis, who is not only a drug smuggler but also the leader of a cult.
