As a child, Indie was dragged across Europe by her mother, Cassie, who used her as a lure in con games.Now grown, Indie has cut herself off from her grifter mother, turned her life around, and opened a fabulous clothing boutique in a ritzy Connecticut town. When Cassie suddenly reappears in Indie's life claiming to be reformed and asking for a job in the store, Indie can't say no fast enough.Cassie is persuasive, though, and Indie craves the opportunity to be in charge for once.
