Trail of Smoke

Notorious drug lord, Martese Palomino, picks the wrong time to return home from exile. A new powerful cartel has taken over control of his cocaine trade in Belize, he's wanted by the United States, and his wife wants him dead. Betrayed, Palomino is arrested and scheduled for extradition to the United States. But when a team of U.S. Marshalls are killed transporting him, Palomino vanishes without a trace. Julian Sebasst is determined to find the person responsible for the killings, but to do that he needs Palomino. To find him, Sebasst has to unravel the truth surrounding the mysterious deaths of Palomino's daughter and her lover, which puts him on the dangerous trail of the fixer, Jax Smoak.
