Trail of Madness

For every variable used in an experiment, there must be a control subject... Wendy, Jamie, and Jobe arrive in Odessa Texas to follow their only lead in discovering who was behind Gene Stoffel's abduction. But beyond locating the last person to see Gene in the city, the trio has no way to locate the kidnappers or uncover the purpose behind their experiments. Their side trip for information becomes a hunt for a new killer, one who is completely unlike Gene Stoffel or Neal Mosley. The kidnappers are also in the city, and they have become aware of the trio of unlikely vigilantes. FBI agent Gavin Lebowitz has stumbled onto Wendy's past, and while he is hunting for her, other agents are searching Odessa for the "mad dog killer." A four way race has begun to determine who will capture the killer first, and it ends in an explosive battle with all sides joining in the fray. Only one side will claim victory. Who will be left standing at the end of the trail of madness?
