While is how the technomancer finds himself relaxing in the far wilds of...Toronto.At first the enforced vacation is pretty sweet: plush digs, plenty of nuyen, and the entire city available for him to sample. But then the lights go out...and they don't come back on the next day...or the next...Within 3 days of the blackout, it's every person for themself as Toronto starts to splinter apart. Gilabyte just wants to get back home, but finds himself making new allies-and dubious deals-in order to get safely out of town. Along the way, he uncovers clues to a larger conspiracy that affects him and his sprites directly...and could lead to all technomancers becoming a valuable-and endangered-species if the wrong people get their hands on him...
