Wes Berry's and Vee Hooper's idyllic life in their love nest in California's coastal redwoods is shattered when a friend is killed by a bumbling born again hit man. They quickly discover that the hit man's next bullet has Vee's name on it. Hunting the killer before he gets to Vee, the lovebirds uncover a squalid international sex trafficking ring that forces young Asian women into prostitution. The ring's headquarters is flea-bag local motel run by bottom feeding twins, a slick brother-sister team, the sister playing a cop's "personal porn queen" to keep their sleazy operation under law enforcement radar. As Wes and Vee stalk the killer, Vee must struggle with ghosts from her past that will test her commitment to Wes. The trafficking operation is broken wide open when Wes and Vee corner the hit man and bring him and his bosses down in a hail of bullets.
