Abuse Comes In Many Forms It might be drugs, alcohol, sexual, mental, or physical. Yet, it can destroy not only those touched directly by its stain but also the lives of those who surround them. 1968 - A year of violence, war, and unrest. Within this decade, King and two Kennedys are assassinated. Riots fill the streets and protests run rampant on campuses all across America. Thousands of young men are killed, maimed and wounded in Vietnam. Thousands more live in fear of the Draft. Amid this turbulent time, in Simi Valley, on the outskirts of Los Angeles, a group of young people are bonded together by mutual backgrounds of abuse, tragedy and violence. They must learn to break the coils that surround them or be condemned to a cycle of self-destruction.
