Thraxas Books Three and Four

This volume contains books three and four of the Thraxas Series. In Thraxas at the Races, the private investigator finds himself embroiled in a murder inquiry, harassed by officialdom and oppressed by the endless rain, when all he really wants to do is gamble at the chariot races. In Thraxas and the Elvish Isles, he's pleased to be invited to the Elvish Island of Avula, which means he can avoid the harsh Turanian winter, and also get away from Makri, whose recent behaviour has outraged all decent citizens. Makri refuses to be left behind however, and joins Thraxas as he struggles to get to grips with an unexpected upsurge in Elvish crime.
