The Zookeeper

Private investigator Cat Canyon is on vacation when she learns her friend, Harry Rusk, was the target of a drive-by shooting. Harry was working one of her cases in Los Angeles when he was slain.

She rushes back to investigate, but the LAPD wants her out of it. Harry was her friend; she won’t stand by and do nothing. No sooner than she digs into clues to the killing she’s coerced by the NSA into helping them clean up their bungled case involving sensitive materials critical to U.S. interests.
