The World of Hamth

A fantasy novel set on the world of Hamth. This story was created through the 2009 NaNoWriMo Challenge. A young priest learns his sister's husband has died under mysterious circumstances. Before he can make any sense out of her cryptic letter he is asked to take charge of an investigation into a matter that may be connected to his sister in some way. Hiram finds himself being asked to keep secrets by a powerful woman of the military arm of The Church, agrees to be protected by a young woman with extraordinary skills, and most strange of all, agrees to be married to a woman he hardly knows at all. This, the first book in The World of Hamth series introduces the character of Hiram Whales, and sets up the beginnings of a group of adventurers that will come together to face the greatest threat Hamth has ever known.
