About This Book
This short-story is dedicated to U.S. veterans of the wars in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan who came home with wounds and PTSD. An Army veteran who sacrificed a leg for his country reclaims a position with the county sheriff. He must adjust to a new life for himself and is assigned to the cold case of the murder of an archaeology student who had been digging up old pots near New Mexico pueblos.
