John Abel Lassiter is free. After spending ten years in jail for murdering his wife he is now looking for the man who really killed her, but in the City of Angels a serial killer is auditioning and then killing aspiring actresses and Lassiter is the prime suspect.A horror film from the 1930's is sold at auction. The man who bought it is attacked and the film stolen. It is the first piece in the puzzle. Meanwhile, in LA, against a backdrop of aspiring actresses and the movie industry, a serial killer is at work. He calls himself the Witch Hunter but is he the one doing the killing?On a local radio station another auction is taking place, this time one of dead bodies as the Witch Hunter and the Pentagram Killer battle it out over the airwaves, each claiming they are the real killer. It's up to Lassiter to prove his innocence and find the real murderer before the Witch Hunter claims his next victim, one he has promised to burn at the stake!
