The Web of Loki

A poisonous, living Web surrounds the Norwegian village of Tuntre, keeping the residents isolated and terrified. The web-shaped scar on Ingrid Hansen’s face is a constant reminder of the threat they face, leaving her ostracized and feared. As high school nears its end, and a future as miserable as her past lays before her, a mysterious journal appears that is written to Ingrid specifically. The strange diary states that Ingrid is the origin of the Web â€" and she alone can set her town free. Now, with her only friends by her side, Ingrid must find out if she can be the hero she longs to be â€" but the hardest monster to defeat is one she may not be ready to confront.
