The Way the Cake Crumbles

Fish Creek Falls is gearing up for their annual 4th of July Carnival and Myra Bailey couldn't be more proud that Dessert First has been selected to bake the Carnival cake. Her dreams are a little watered down when she learns that baking star Rachel Whey will be the chef in Myra's bakery for the occasion. When Rachel's limo arrives, Myra is sure that Rachel will match her TV personality and desserts—sweet and enjoyable. But she couldn't be more wrong. Rachel quickly sets the tone for coming days with her tyrannical attitude. And when Myra finds Rachel dead in her kitchen in the midst of eating Myra's Red, White and Blueberry Trifle, Myra is on the hunt for the killer, while the police are hunting her. She's in a race against time to get her business back open and save the Carnival celebration. Was Dessert First also a target? Will the killer come after Myra? Was she actually the intended victim and the killer was surprised to find Rachel there instead?
