About This Book

A SMALL GIRL WILL SAVE US, YES, SHE WILL SAVE US ALL

Jaxmin and his lizard army finally escape their prison in Antarctica and head northwards to Tasmania as was forewarned by the Lady Asherah over a century before. Dain and his grandfather Jack travel to the Grath Empire to kidnap Dain's two year old daughter, who unbeknownst to all, is a third generation human mutation. A foolish alien known as Sycam returns to Earth once more and three Australian astronauts land on the moon but are shocked to find that it is already occupied.

"How did you get out of the desert, then?" the chef asked.
"I was carried," the lame man replied.
"Loyal friends, then," the chef said, still frowning at him.
"Yes . . . yes, my fellow soldiers were . . .very loyal," Kade replied, losing his warm smile for a moment.
"And now you are in the South it seems," Corso said.
"Yes, for as you can see, I am standing here right before you in Southern Africa," Kade replied.
"Why the South, then?" Corso asked.
"I like to travel."
"Why not go west or east?"
"My parents did not give me much latitude when Iwas a child."
"Funny guy." Corso sighed.
"To a certain degree." Kade smiled.
"So you walked here on a lame leg?" Corso continued.
"My doctor said I needed to exercise."
"By walking the entire continent?"
"He did not specify how much exercise."
"And you say you have cooked your way all down Africa," the chef said, quickly glancing at the man's references.
"Yes, I like food, especially eating it. It makes me feel alive," the lame man replied, smiling once more.
"Will the jokes ever stop?" Corso now grimaced.
"Will the questions?" Kade asked.
"One week's trial only," the head chef finally said. "If you make a mistake or I begin to distrust you, you are out of the palace gates, cripple or no cripple."
"Thank you," the lame man replied gratefully. "I won't let you down, I promise."
"I hope you won't," the head chef replied. "Lord Chakide Okafor has been good to us. The Americos could have trampled all over us, but somehow that young man has kept us alive."
"He is a wonderful man," Ramla Okafor replied, trying to keep the hatred out of his voice. "I look forward to serving him in away that he deserves."
