I WANT TO EXTERMINATE YOUR SPECIES, NOT PUNISH YOU
An ancient group of aliens have been watching mankind closely for thousands of years in the hope that one day they would evolve enough to be allowed to travel the stars. One of their members believes that humanities fate lies in the hands of the bloodline emanating from Jon Dayton and will do all she can to protect that line, but an exiled member known as The Dark Monk, hates humanity and wants to see them all destroyed. Standing against him in the city of Brisbane is a young woman called Rainbow.
"You know, if Zauxus was right, the egotistical ruling humans would hate it if all of you peasant humans knew the truth about the world," the old man now said thoughtfully, ignoring Jin's question. "Especially if your little children became self-aware before the intuition was beaten out of them by their skeptical parents, who had the exact same thing happen to them, as did their parents before that. The ruling humans love you being their intellectual and spiritual slaves, you know. It makes them feel superior, but far more importantly, it makes them feel safe."
"You jump around so much--you're insane."
"Still too much for you to take in, I see." The old man sighed as he leant back in disappointment. "I don't know how old Zauxus put up with you ignorant humans for so long, and it's no wonder old Blesteer loved the animals so much. You are quite prepared to insult me by calling me this mythical all-powerful devil of yours, but when I tell you the truth, that it is other humans you should have watched out for all these years, you call me insane. I should have known better. You vermin are so blind," the old man finished in disgust.
