The Twain Shall Meet

The private detective of the gods is in the middle of a war. When Tom Statford gets called in on a case, things are usually bad already. After the Fall bringing the gods to Earth, it's no rest for the weary. This time, the case involves a gangland slaying on both sides of a possible turf war threatening to explode all over the Seven Cities of Hampton Roads. The bad part: both gangs worship the same god, just under a different name. The worst part: there's a creature out there doing the killings, and it's not picky about who gets in the way. Tom is in the battle of his life as he gets deep in the politics of post-Fall gang warfare, and every step of the way promises to be his last.
