It's murder when budget cuts force college librarian and psychic sleuth Kim Reynolds to take a job as a high school English teacher. Especially since a student she had a premonition about is found dead. As she tries to cope with a job she isn't sure she likes, the mystery deepens.

Kim's car is vandalized, her reception from other teachers is strangely hostile, and there's an undercurrent of unease, even fear, permeating the school's hallways. When a new premonition leads her to another dead body, she vows to get to the truth. But dealing with the police isn't easy, now that her detective boyfriend's not-so-ex wife is back in town. All Kim can do is follow the clues to scandalous secrets locked deep inside the school itself—before someone else ends up dead.
