For decades, a live nuclear shell has waited undetected beneath tons of concrete. But when a clerk in the U.S. Army learns of its existence, he sees it as a chance to get whatever he desires. The finding sets into motion a religious crusade, and not just one. A collection of dangerous sociopaths all vie to uncover and secure control of the shell, and all for their own reasons. Each one, in their own way, feels that some higher force is guiding them.
