Former hero Tom North escaped Megaton City to live quietly in rural Kansas. His dream was to waste away the rest of his days in a quaint house, reading newspapers and drawing in his spare time while the world wore on around him. Things changed. Trevor Rembrandt, once the fearsome vigilante known as Fivestar, recently revealed to the public his true identity and put his wealthy family’s entire fortune at risk. With the help of his stern assistant Riley Trudeau, Trevor was forced to seek refuge in Kansas. The infamous Doctor Demon was one of the world’s most sinister masterminds. For reasons unknown, he re-branded himself as a reality television star and found himself in the good graces of the public. And then he was recruited to help a disgraced hero clean up his act.
