The Taipan Club

A botched kidnapping and the murder of a recalcitrant politician sets DCI Simon Webster and DS Noel Elliott off, reluctantly, on an investigation they would prefer not to be investigating. Initially, what appears to be a simple case of murder is soon consumed into an international attempt to acquire Graham Lee's Taipan Club. To be successful, this venture needs political support and the support of a property developer which, together, comprise the bane of Simon's life. Antagonism and murder abounds as feminine malice and financial greed present the two detectives with what could be a career-ending investigation.
