She loves Cape Elizabeth firefighter Jacob Evans whom she meets on the cliffs as she watches the rescue of a collier ship's crew after a fierce storm.Dean Evans, Jacob's grandson, intercepts Mack's message at Jacob Evans' last known address. His curiosity piqued, Dean decides that the mystery woman and her diary are a good excuse to escape his mother's matchmaking shenanigans-her sole focus being a grandchild.All these characters come together in a story of love and friendship.
