The Stiff

This is the story of three lovely woman: Ruth, Ann, and Mary. Their friendship began when they were three years old and it blossomed beautifully over the years. They were not only born in the same year, 1951, but also on the same month: March, under the zodiac constellation, Aries, the RAM. The women were as close as sisters with a great natural affection for each other. No matter what one did, good, bad, or indifferent, the other two were never critical. None of the women bore children; consequently the bond between them became even stronger. So here they were now celebrating their sixtieth birthdays; so this then is the story of the unusual birthday gift that Ruth and Ann decided to give to Mary.
