The Sorcerer's Curse

Connor Adams and the English Legione continue their adventures in the Wylde Woode as they travel through the Awkward Mountains on their way to Simethicone Valley and the Fantastic Fjords. But when two strange wood folk suddenly arrive at their campsite, the English Legione decide that they should hasten their trek via the Not Terribly Interesting River. Unfortunately, the river has many hidden dangers that threaten Connor and her friends, and they are forced to fight for their lives while elderly avians bitch overhead about how terribly boring the river is. When they finally arrive at the Simethicone Valley Centaur Village, all hell breaks loose again. If Connor was not stressed enough, she certainly will be when she has to fight a Giant Sweaty Gryphon, listen to Captain Obvious' lectures, deal with Kenton's unwanted affections, and even go through the secondary phase of Brood puberty, all while Lancaster sends a psychotic wizard and a Frood necromancer to do his bidding. Will Connor defeat the Giant Sweaty Gryphon? Who cursed the Obvious Owls, and why? Who is the strange young man that looks after the owls? Why has Aidan recruited his nephew to the English Legione? And why is Kenton following Connor around like a sad, lost puppy?
