The Snowcat's Child

After he finds a dragon's egg and accidentally hatches it, Orson is flung into a quest that he doesn't know he's on to find someone he doesn't know he has to find in order to right a great wrong done by someone who didn't really think about what he was doing – and along the way he finds out he's not who he thinks he is.



Orson overhears some interesting news about the shapeshifting snowcats in the Mountains. But when he and Sotari the dragon venture into the snow-covered heights, Orson witnesses the King's Decree against magical creatures in action – and its devastating and heartbreaking consequences.
