It's New Year's Eve, and Kyle Smith is heading to his parents' upscale San Francisco house for their annual party. Smiths from all over the country fly in every year for this reunion, and Kyle expects a long night of drunk uncles, matchmaking aunts, and typical Smith family shenanigans.

What he isn't expecting is the house's previously non-existent third story - a very recent addition - nor an uncle's alcohol-inspired rantings that change everything Kyle thought he knew about his family.
