The Shift

Rose knows she is running on borrowed time. Tendrils of dark magic are twisting their way into Ljubljana's underbelly, her father's brethren out for her blood. The Dark Ones are powerless to prevent Rose's title of Death incarnate from spreading through the community, their struggle to maintain peace among the supernaturals spiraling down at a dangerous pace. The werewolves are left with no other choice but to allow their lethal nature to surface, to accept the bloodied path of their ancestors, and become what they had sworn not to be. Because anybody who stands with the pack is deemed guilty by association. And execution is a punishment the werewolves cannot accept.
