The Seventh Paradigm

Like many of us, Harvey Weinstein has a mundane job and works in a cubicle. A chance meeting in Hamburg, Germany with Uncle Julius, a distant relative of his wife Ursula, sets off a series of encounters that threatens his very existence. Julius used to be a Stasi colonel in the DDR. When he learns that Harvey’s job is computer coupons at Krieger, he says Harvey is very glucklich, for in Stasi days to eavesdrop on people Julius might have to do a stakeout in a doorway all night in the cold rain. Harvey, however, has his computers and knows what the Krieger customers eat. Julius’s mention of the Seventh Paradigm turns Harvey’s life upside down.
