Ethera is a half elf, half vampire who wants to rule the universe. All she needs is the blood stone, but that requires twelve charms, the twelve charms of Daria, in order to find it. The charms were scattered across the universe to prevent universal domination. A young girl was left one such charm after her mother's passing. Dayanara is a fifteen year old half-breed who has a hard time controlling her magical gifts. She is sent to a school that will help her to control her magic. There, her mother's charm is taken from her. She sets out on a perilous journey. A journey, not only to find her mother's necklace, but also to find out about herself. She drags her two best friends Tulip, a vampire-pixy-human mixture, and Wildfire, a fire demon-goblin-human mix, along for the ride of their lives. She also meets a man who seems very interested in her, and also mesmerizes her. He is beauty and grace. A perfect guy, and a perfect killer. Who is this man and why is he so interested? Will she ever find her mother's necklace? Can she save the world from the ultimate destruction it's sure to face?
