The Secret War

Man has always been at war with one another and himself. He is always in a state of delusional pursuit of the things he does not possess. He is always distracted by the shiny things of physical reality. It was only a matter of time and opportunity that something might come along and quietly blend itself into the fabric of life. It will use man's blind pursuits, irrational appetites and psychological frailties to indulge and satisfy malevolent cravings. Man's long-standing dominance of the world will be challenged. Man's ways will be put to the test, for it is man's ways that have brought about his own undoing.
