About This Book

This edition is no longer available.
Mogi Franklin and his sister, Jennifer, are working at the Ghost Ranch Conference Center in Northern New Mexico for a few weeks. Rafting the Chama River, they learn of an old legend about stolen gold from a stagecoach robbery that may still be hidden in the river valley. It's fun to imagine finding it, but a sudden threat to the environment makes it real. The possibility of an electrical generation plant being built in the valley means the ruin for the whole countryside, but, in particular, for a significantly beautiful monastery that sits next to the planned facility. It would mean the ruin of everything. Finding the gold becomes a priority to fight the plant, but the obstacles include a wealthy corporation and a ghost.
