The Return Home

The Return Home is the story of two high school sweethearts who return to their home town after twenty-five years. Mary Weston returned from Peru to settle her grandmother's estate. In her first weeks in her grandmother's house, she is shaken by someone watching her, leaving notes on her door, and scaring her. John Blake had returned when he found himself alone to visit old friends. They were reunited at a Class Reunion. Everything should have been perfect, and it was except for the one person, Mike Flanders. Mike was a lonely man with mental problems that had gotten worse over the years. He had always felt that he was in love with Mary even though she was afraid of him. What should have been a time of happiness, and a joyful reunion for them, quickly turned into a time of terror, fear and violence. The Return Home takes place in Ypsilanti, Michigan, with many of the historic sites of Depot Town. The Thompson Building had been a military barracks during the Civil War.
