The Red Fang

Hopeless, pointless. That’s how the entire situation looked to us, the non-humans, the citizens of this great nation deemed “less-than” by politicians, the government, religious factions, and everyone else on the planet who did not understand us. We were all hopelessly doomed to be picked off one by one, entire species and families eradicated for no reason other than the fact that we were different, that we were feared by the majority. Our lives were being cut short, but we would not stand idly by and allow ourselves to be destroyed. We would fight, to the bitter end, with our last breath, all declaring as one that we are no different from the humans, that we have the right to exist, to live. Battle lines have been drawn. But the war, has just begun.
