The letter arrived in a blood red envelope carried by a hawk. It begged ten-year-old Julie to leave everything she'd ever known to join an army of witches to fight the Evil Wizard Dietrick in Acathia. His black magic rules over Acathia, destroying all that is good. He even collects children as pets. Can Julie really be the one to finally defeat him?
