About This Book

More fun, games and adventure in this dimension and the afterlife. Spies and the murky world of Intelligence Agencies, mystery, intrigue, murder, sex and a visit to the dark side. What more could you want?
This is the second in the Reluctant Psychic series. Evelyn Marsh, the eccentric reluctant psychic, is inveigled into yet another intriguing escapade by her spiritual guide, the late Detective Sergeant Lucky Lambert. Lucky coerces Evelyn into helping her investigate suspicious deaths at the mysterious Masterman's Retreat, an elite gentlemen's Nursing Home.
Evelyn volunteers to act as a visiting companion at the exclusive home dispensing assistance, jovial friendship and bonhomie and accepts the task of proof reading a supposedly fictional novel written by a one of the residents whom she surprisingly discovers is a disillusioned, retired spy, Harry. Evelyn soon begins to suspect that the novel is an actual memoir of Harry's past life as a member of various Intelligence Agencies across the world. If it is a memoir, she soon realises that it is actually an explosive exposé of the murky intelligence-gathering community which, if published, could bring down the wrath of influential people and put Harry in a life-threatening situation. Are the clues to the murders hidden in Harry's book and the other perplexing residents of Masterman's Retreat?
