When the Ruler of Skye asks Archer to rescue his daughter, Amethina, from the tyrant Ruler of Water, Archer barely gives it a second thought before he accepts the challenge. The Ruler of Water allows the Ruler of Skye to provide him maps of the planets and special clothing, with a matching gemstone charm, that contains paranormal powers. Skye's ruler provides a hint on how to unlock these powerful forces but he isn't allowed to tell Archer what to do on each planet. Archer's only instructions... find a guidepost and solve the puzzle that will let him complete the task. The crystal master of Skye sends Archer off with a warning, "If you fail one test, you fail them all."

The puzzles get more difficult as Archer progresses from planet to planet and he struggles to continue. To make matters worse, the puzzle solutions confirm the danger to King Zirco's daughter and add urgency to his task. His frustrations mount when he can't go forward and he can't give up. What will happen if he can't save the king's daughter?
