The Plot Against Roger Rider

Roger Rider and Geoffrey Paradine grew up together. Roger, now a successful businessman, is dashing and self-assured; Geoffrey, his employee, is timid, subservient, rather drab. Why, then, would the beautiful Mrs. Rider choose Geoffrey as a lover? And why would Roger invite Geoffrey to join the Riders at their vacation villa in Spain? When Roger disappears without a trace, the entanglements increase, and it becomes clear that a very clever schemer is at work. But just who is plotting against whom?
