His interest in the cases and his short temper sparked like a slow burning fuse when someone takes a shot at him and Megan, miss only to try again and miss again. Then, when the would be assassin tossed a grenade through a bedroom window took the cake, his fury unleashed, Zane Yancy as at his most dangerous. Someone had attempted to kill his beloved Megan. Now, nothing could interrupt his investigation and eventual capture.
With the guilty behind bars, Zane returns to his second love of his life, his fishing boat. He got a taste of his own medicine when Yancy puts a slug between his feet, and gently tells him to prove he has the money.
