The Mystic Academy

The demon Baneus has been summoned, but thanks to thirteen-year-old Rora Marx, he is much weaker than anticipated. But he and his cult are out there, plotting, and they want her dead. And as Rora tries to adjust to her new supernatural life and starts to learn more secrets about her unique soul, matters only become more complicated and dangerous. Mystic Academy should be a place where Rora can be safe and process the loss of her friends and loved ones, but when a professor starts ambushing her in combat training and slayer students turn against her, she is forced to defend herself almost every day at a school falling further and further into chaos. But fights at school and the threat of Baneus pale in comparison to a much more sinister threat lurking behind it all, threatening the lives of those Rora holds dear-again.
