The Mortal Gods

Titan is bound by his honor to uphold his father's laws even when logic would otherwise. Laws that keep the West from retaliating when attacked by enemy kingdoms, that keep Titan from being with the woman he loves, and that ultimately keep his father from being armed while in negotiations with the mad-man named Devvon. But when Devvon murders all neighboring kings, Titan must learn to survive in a world where religion and magic interweave, where the laws of the kingdoms and physics are little more than suggestions and where Titan, his sardonic boyhood friend, and the woman he is fated to be without must choose to either take up dangerously seductive powers or let the kingdoms fall back into an age of terror.
