That one day she and the women who worked at her Striptease brothel invited them to their annual Christmas party at the Marriott in downtown Springfield. Unbeknownst to Mora, Mayor Marcus, who was also in attendance, was very observant of her and her team at the Christmas party. He was envious of Mora, he couldn't fathom the thought of a young black woman from the projects, being as successful and wealthy as Tamora Williams. He was determined to investigate and discover her darkest secrets, which he did with assistance from some corrupted FBI agents. They were able to gain access to Mora's CORI. To keep Mayor Marcus from exposing her, he invited her to his hotel suite after the Christmas party ended. Mora assumed he wanted a sexual favor being that he was a regular client at her brothel, but that wasn't it, because Marcus had secrets of his own. He was an undercover homosexual, living a double life. Marcus planned to extort Mora for a handsome fee of hundreds of thousands of dollars when that wasn't enough to accommodate his extravagant lifestyle, his boyfriend Corey, coerced him into extorting more money from Mora.
