The prowler is not the only thing Rosie is nervous about!

Strange things have been happening around Rosie's house ever since her father moved away for his new job. A dark figure prowling around in the back yard at night and doors slamming in a supposedly empty house make Rosie suspect that something mysterious is going on.

The dreaded piano recital is also rapidly approaching. Rosie is certain that she will never master her piece since she has only nine fingers. Rosie thinks that things would be different, if her father were still around. Why can't things just be simple and easy like they used to be?
