Charged with finding a location for a professional retreat, Chicago theater director Angela Roskowic travels to a small town on the Mississippi River. Immediately upon arrival, however, Angela's finely tuned sense for the strange tells her something is very wrong.
After getting trapped on a secluded island with a vacationing geologist, she realizes that there are also bloodthirsty zombies to keep them company. As the plague spreads, the two are forced to band together if they wish to escape with their lives.
Part spine-tingling horror, part side-splitting comedy, The Melting Dead is a delightfully campy and satirical take on the typical zombie tale.
