The Maui Murders

Maui's new police chief has barely taken over an understaffed department when he discovers a serial killer preying on his island. Despite having a cadre of experienced detectives, the department lacks a specialized homicide unit. At the risk of alienating his own troops, the chief reaches out to the San Diego County Sheriff, his classmate at the police academy, for help. The sheriff offers to lend him one of his newer homicide investigators. Rookie murder cop Kekoa Opio feels the weight of his professional pride, the reputation of his own department, and his responsibility to his new Maui colleagues all riding on the outcome. But will his new island romance become yet another victim?
